AVG AntivirusDelete files from the Virus Vault1. Right click on the AVG Icon.
2. Select Launch Virus Vault
3. This windows shows you the files you have received that AVG has identified as virus's. These files could have come from E-Mail or from accessing Floppy Disks or other Hard Drives. When files are in the Vault your computer is safe, these files are kept in an area on you computer that is isolated from the rest of the system. But please do not leave them here! Note: AVG can only detect the latest Virus's if you're Anti Virus Database is up to date.
4. Now you have some decisions to make. If these files are received and you are sure that you do not need them you can delete them by right clicking on the file and selecting delete. Go to 4A.
4A. Selecting yes will delete the files from the Vault and your system. The file is non-recoverable once you do this. Perform step 4 and 4A for each file you do not need.
After you have cleaned you system I suggest you run a Database Update and then Rescan your system.
